Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

My wife and waited 45 minutes to get in. They sat us at a table and we sat there for another 20 minutes before they even asked if we needed any drinks. We got up and walked out. We put China by the Sea on our ( BIG C LIST ) SEE YA NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have had better - and I surly have had worse. The atmosphere of the restaurant was what i was expecting and the service was good as well. The chicken fingers were better than normal and the String Beans were surprisingly fresh and cooked so they were still a bit crisp. The rest of the meal was on par. If you are in the Boothbay area there are better places to get food ... if you are craving for Chinese food specifically ... then it would be worth a stop.

Nice clean place and friendly service. Won Ton Soup was good. Crab Rangoon's were big and filled with crab, they were really good and so was the Egg Foo Yung. The Rangoon's and the Egg Foo Yung were the reasons for the 4 stars, they really were yummy. We have had better curry. Not the best but was good for a change from all the Maine seafood eateries. We would go there again. They charge you for chili sauce never saw that before but the tea is free

This is excellent Chinese food! They put bell peppers in their sweet and sour sauce... it is the best thing I have ever tasted! Also try the Green Onion Pancake... so delicious and comes with a very good dipping sauce.

I work down the road and probably eat here about once a month (either take-out or a quick lunch with coworkers). Their food is consistently solid, and as far as small town Chinese places go, this is the best I've ever had. There's never any fat or gristle on the meats (which I find you run into all the time at Chinese restaurants) and their prices are very reasonable. All of the appetizers that I've tried have been great, and I really enjoy their chicken with spicy garlic sauce and chicken and broccoli. I have a friend that swears by their soup too. Also, oddly enough my husband and I both agree that their french fries are amazing (I know - not what you'd think your go-to would be at a Chinese restaurant. I'd highly recommend trying them - they're addictive.

The restaurant is clean and the service is good and fast, but the food isn't as good as I would expect it to be for the prices ($14 for pad thai). The food is below average for similar Chinese places. The flavors were very strong and not in a very good way. The beef with broccoli, pad Thai, and pork fried rice were all only decent. The location is convenient and parking is readily available.

Meh. Overpriced and overly sweet. Compare to most other strip mall take-out joints. Fast and polite. Ample parking.

It's hard to be a vegetarian in a lobster town! We headed to China By The Sea with the hopes of finding non-meat options and weren't disappointed. There is parking out front (a rarity in the area), a clean dining room, free computer/internet access, and a standard American Chinese menu just like you have at home. Nothing spectacular, just functional dine in or carry out.

Heard about this restaurant from several people. What a disappointment. The service was ok, but the food was horrific. Don't waste your time or money here.

Overall, a pleasant experience. The food didn't wow me, but then again I was eating American-Chinese food in a place known for it's seafood. The menu offers the standard fare. The service was efficient and friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

I mean, it's greasy American Chinese food, it hits the spot but it isn't gormet ;) the bar has all the polinesian drinks you want, which is always fun. I am in love with curry and theirs was ok. The only place for Chinese in the area.
